Fujitsu Announced Grannote


Japanese company Fujitsu has announced a Lifebook AH90/P laptop. The computer, which second name is Grannote, is designed for people aged 60 and older.


The laptop has a keyboard of an "island" type with spaces between the buttons. The computer has a backlight  and not only the keys are highlighted, but also icons and ports. The icons brought to the surface with the keyboard.

The computer has an Awaseru Voice function. It strengthens the high frequencies that are bad to hearing by old people. The Awaseru View function, in its turn, selects the optimal brightness and color balance of the screen.

The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i7 4500U, 15,6- inch screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, eight gigabytes of RAM and the Blu-ray. In Japan it will be released on February 13.

Earlier, in 2013, Fujitsu released a smartphone for the elderly. Its features were "tight" touch screen, eliminating erroneous touches, and function of "slow" speech during the talk.
